DU Admission 2018: LSR Tops Charts With 98.75% for BA

New Delhi: On Monday, the University of Delhi announced its first cut-off list for year 2018-19's merit-based undergraduate courses. Lady Shri Ram College hold the highest cut-off this year with 98.75 per cent for BA (programme). The cut off for BA (Hons) in Journalism in
Delhi College of Arts and Commerce is 98.50 per cent, while LSR College has a cut-off of 98.25 per cent for BA (Hons) in Psychology.

SGTB Khalsa College held the highest cut off with 99.66 per  Ient for B.Sc (Hons) inElectronics in last year. Khalsa College, in humanities stream, had set the highest cut-off at 99 per cent for BA (Hons) in Political Science.  Hindu College, has the highest cut off in science stream this year  with 98 per cent for B.Sc (Hons) in Physics in. Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College also has a cut-off of 98 per cent for its B.Sc(Hons) in Computer Science course.

The St Stephen’s College was the first one to release its cut-off list. Then followed by SRCC and other colleges.

The online admission commenced from May 15 and the registration for these courses ended on June 7. The university has, for now, announced a total of five cut-off lists with the notification for the first cut-off scheduled to be issued on June 19.

The total number of male and female applicants are, 1,44,248 and 1,34,297 respectively. 29 applicants registered themselves as other.  2,78,544 aspirants have made payments, as per an unnamed University Official. Last year, around 2.20 lakh candidates had made payments.
