Google Doodle Celebrates World Cup Kick-Off In Russia

New Delhi : The craze of FIFA world cup 2018 is back. To mark this beginning of quadrennial event Google Creates a doodle to commemorate it. 

Google doodle is a special, temporary alteration of the logo on Google's homepages that commemorate holidays, event achievements and people. To celebrate the talent of the participating countries, Google published its series of the doodle on Thursday.

Every day of the month-long tournament, the artists from each country will be illustrating The image of football in their country.

In total 32 teams from all around the world will be competing in this tournament which will be ending on 15 July.

The biggest sporting competition on this planet will be conducted across 12 venues in 11 cities around Russia. This time there are some first-timers, including Iceland and Panama.

The first match will be played between Russia and Saudi Arabia at the Luzinski stadium in Moscow.

Before this, an opening ceremony will take place in which Smith singing live it up, the anthem of the FIFA world cup 2018 will feature.

First Google Doodle was created by Larry Page and Sergey Brin on August 20, 1998, to give some honour to the burning man festival of the year that they both attended.
