The opening combination is likely to stay fixed with Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma. In Ajinkya Rahane’s absence Lokesh Rahul could be India’s No.4, as Virat Kohli retains his No.3 position.

For the No. 5, India has three options in the form of Dinesh Karthik, Suresh Raina and Manish Pandey.

No. 6 and 7 are sure to be fixed for Dhoni and Hardik Pandya.

Dinesh Karthik is in form of his life, and on the other hand presence of Raina can provide ith an extra bowling option. This makes chances highly bleak for Manish Pandey.
