IndvsEng:  India Crushes England In First ODI By 8 Wickets

New Delhi: Thanks to the hundred from the Hitman, Rohit Sharma and six wicket haul by the left arm wrist spinner, Kuldeep Yadav, India managed a comfortable 8 wickets win against England in the first of the three match ODI series.

Batting first England perished at the score of 268 runs in 49.5 overs, which India managed to chase down comfortably with almost 10 overs to spare.

Earlier, India won the toss and asked the hosts to bat first. England got off to a good start scoring 71 runs in the first 10 overs without the loss of any wicket. It looked like we would witness another huge total being posted at Trent Bridge. But it was young Kuldeep Yadav, who spun the game in India's favour crushing the England's top order. By the 20th over, England were 4 down for 105.

Buttler and Stokes tried to recover the team, but perished after scoring half centuries. In the end, they finished at a score of 268 runs on a flat wicket.

Once again, England batting side has no reply against the Kuldeep Yadav's variations and we witnessed something very similar to what we saw in the first T20I.

Rest was a cakewalk for India. Rohit Sharma's 137 runs off 114 balls along Captain Kohli's 75 off 82  balls led India to a comfortable 8 wickets win.

England bowling attack was pretty ordinary, and for the first time since 2006, English pacers ended up with no wicket in an ODI at their home.
