SSC Declares CGL Tier I Result, Steps To Check

New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the results for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I) 2018 Examination on Tuesday i.e., August 20, 2019.
The SSC CGL Tier-I 2018 results are available on its official website - https://ssc.nic.in/

As per the official statement the next SSC CGL Tier-II examinations will be conducted from September 11-13, 2019.

The notification reads "The staff Selection Commission conducted the Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I), 2018 from 04.06.2019 to 13.06.2019 in the Computer Based Mode. Re-examination for 4825 candidates was conducted on 19.06.2019 and examination for 1 (one) candidate was conducted on 10.07.2019 on the Orders of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. A total of 8,36,139 candidates appeared in the said examination."

Step one: Visit the official SSC website: ssc.nic.in.

Step two: Click on the "Result" tab provided on the home page.

Step three: Click on the tab for "CGL"

Step four: Click on the SSC CGL result link 

Step five: A pdf will open. Check your SSC CGL result from that page. 

Out of 25.97 lakh registered candidates around 8.34 lakh candidates appeared for the SSC CGL Tier-I examination. Later, the SSC re-conducted the examination of around 4,825 candidates on June 19, 2019 as these candidates faced technical problem on the original exam date i.e., on June 4, 2019.

The Conducted Graduate Level Examination is conducted for the Indian graduates to be recruited at various posts in ministries, departments and organisation under the Central government. 

The SSC CGL Tier - I examination was successfully conducted from June 4 to 13, 2019 in 22 shifts across 362 examination centres in 131 cities of 33 states and union territories. The SSC CGL 2018 was conducted online. 
The Commission had conducted the Combined Graduate Level (Tier-I) Examination 2018 for approx. 25.87 lakh candidates at 362 venues in 132 cities across the country between June 4, 2019 to June 13, 2019.

On day 1 i.e. June 4, 2019, the examination was held in 351 venues in 129 cities across the country. As against a total of 4,24,665 scheduled candidates; 1,40,386 candidates actually appeared in the examination. The overall attendance was 33.06%. The examination was conducted successfully without any untoward incident at all 351 venues.

On day 2, i.e. June 6, 2019, the examination was to be conducted at examination was to be conducted at 339 venues in 129 cities across the country in which 4,00,828 schedule candidates were to take the examination. The exam was successfully conducted at 335 venues out of 339 venues in which 1,33,796 candidates actually appeared in the examination.
The SSC has conducted the CGL Examination (Tier-I), 2018 from 4 June to 13 June (for 7 days).
